'Every person who lives in Spain is obliged to register in the Register of the municipality in which they habitually reside. Anyone who lives in several municipalities, or in several addresses within the same municipality, must register only in the one where they live for the longest time per year'.

• Certain procedures for the Municipal Register of Inhabitants can be carried out electronically at the Electronic Office with a digital certificate or electronic Spanish DNI.
• Any in-person procedure for the Municipal Register of Inhabitants must be carried out by the interested person in person at the Citizen Assistance Offices (OAC) by appointment. If you cannot attend due to force majeure, your representative must provide a completed and signed authorization model, proof of absence, and an original identity document of the representative and the interested person.
• All procedures for the Municipal Register of Inhabitants are FREE.
